Extremely frustrating to use compared to Visual Studio Code + Cline extension.

I keep hearing people rave about how great zed is. But I'm trying it now and there is already a few things that is already frustrating me.

Reasoning parameter, do I need to add reasoning effort everytime openai makes a new model? there is an option to pick gpt 5 but i don't see a drop down menu or option to choose a reasoning parameter. Also, when I add a custom model, I'm not able to copy and paste screenshots, and I don't see a feature to include attachments in the AI agents. There is a configuration but it doesn't seem to show much of anything other then being able to add your own api keys.
