The test was racy on ARM64 CI (macOS and Linux) because it gated on metrics.LogsSent — which the TCP destination increments *before* forwarding the payload to the auditor's input channel. On slow ARM64 runners the test could call partialStop() before the auditor received the ack, causing Flush() to write a registry missing the latest offset. Three changes: 1. Gate the initial wait on LogsSent >= fakeLogs, then poll until the auditor offset stabilises, ensuring ALL initial lines (not just the first) have been committed before capturing the baseline offset. 2. Use auditor.GetOffset for the post-append wait, confirming the new log line has fully propagated into the auditor before partialStop(). 3. Increase stop_grace_period from 1s to 5s so the serial stopper can drain launchers → pipelineProvider → destinationsCtx without hitting the force-close timeout on slower machines.
