I also made a change so HAM_CheckPriv returns an error for privNames containing a "." in them (it was easier to trap from this angle than to test if the json was nested or not). I also designed a test for this. I think this would be a good addition in deployments that are not meant to support nesting, because otherwise it may look like the nesting works, until a dev tests inheritance. I think it is fair to think that since the data input is meant to be a json object, some people out there will get "creative" and expect they can nest things at will if the function is not giving them an error.
