Getting one spatial subset out of a set of files (time dimension is fixed)

Get a single point timeseries (x and y dimensions are fixed)

Get multiple timeseries (x and y are fixed, but there is a set of them)

Get a timeseries of spatial subsets (one or more subsets through time).

This is a direct application of the above. We can do quantitative comparison with both our SciDB as well our Spark ETL processes
