Apply Unix-style line endings to the text files in this repository (excluding Windows-specific build files). When this repository is checked out or updated on a Windows system, Git will convert the line endings in these files automatically.

Normalize line endings and remove the executable bit from plain text files. This makes merging code changes easier.
