If there are inline comment in the section header it causes an exception, provide the option to handle it correctly (for example in the section header contains a #)

I was not able to reproduce the error. Parsing a section such as [Section] # InlineComment works as intended.
Could you please provide an example configuration that fails?

It’s when the section name itself contains the comment characters like [section#name]

I think my description is incomplete / misleading.
