@friadev any comments?

Another option is [VMware Fusion](https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion.html). You can read their [documentation](https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Fusion/13/com.vmware.fusion.using.doc/GUID-474FC78E-4E77-42B7-A1C6-12C2F378C5B9.html) to see how to install a macOS VM.
[Parallels Desktop](https://www.parallels.com/) is a paid option. Parallels supports snapshots for macOS virtual machines on both Intel and Apple Silicon Mac computers. It makes testing a lot faster and easier. This [documentation](https://docs.parallels.com/pdfm-ug-26/parallels-desktop-for-mac-26-users-guide/advanced-topics/using-other-operating-systems-on-your-mac/running-macos-virtual-machines) shows how to get macOS VM running in Parallels.

Is this still the case, that only Intel Macs are supported? If so, this can be removed from the guide entirely.

Follow their [documentation](https://docs.getutm.app/guest-support/macos) to install a macOS VM with just a few clicks.

Faster and easier compared to what? Can we make this sound more neutral?

Parallels requires signing up with an account and giving your payment info so I’m not a fan. UTM is free or lets you buy it through the App Store if you already gave Apple your payment info anyway.

https://my.parallels.com/data_reminder Speaks for itself really.

Vs

https://mac.getutm.app/privacy/

I’m ok with taking out VMware though I wanted to before anyway.

Let's include Parallels with a data collection disclaimer (the linked privacy notice is actually quite nice and likely sufficient) - and remove VMware. Thank you.
