Followup to #129825

Clarifies what the default indexing algorithm for float vectors is in 9.0

Docs are now cumulative, which means that we need to clearly tag changes introduced in each version going forward.

@elastic/developer-docs could use a hand with some style suggestions here. this change really would do better with a narrative approach and what I did is sort of hacky.

this change really would do better with a narrative approach and what I did is sort of hacky.

I agree this page needs a lot of love, structure and narrative wise, but probably best to create an issue for follow up work, and dev docs can work to fix the systemic issues with this page post-9.1 release
