Updated the UI information to scale better on any screen resolution except for the checkboxes and radio buttons on a newer version of pyqt. I also modified the start location of the open file action to start in the data folder.

I expected a small UI change, but a lot of lines show up in the GitHub diff so I'm not sure what this pull request does.
