Should the [Tools] > [Developer tools] > [Texture replacement] > [Save new textures]
cause visual bugs even if you don't have [Graphics] > [Replace textures] enabled?
I noticed when switching equipped skills in Final Fantasy Tactics I would get this strange behavior. In the image it shows that I have a skill equipped to all 5 slots (even though I had removed them from the 4th and 5th slot)
Then when I tried to swap a skill in one of those slots it would show in the greyed out screen the correct info
Also when I would swap a skill in one of the slots, it would sometimes show previous skill in a slot even if I had removed it. second image I technically had:
[Arithmeticks] [White Magicks] [Sticky Fingers] [] [Manafont]
and when I would swap [Sticky Fingers] for [Shirahdori] it showed the previously equipped skills
[Arithmeticks] [White Magicks] [Shirahdori] [HP Boost] []
even weirder, every time I swapped [Sticky Fingers] <> [Shirahdori] it would visually swap between those two images, only one of which properly reflects the current game data
Looking at the game data, things were being stored correctly and this was exclusively a visual bug. And with Save new textures disabled this behavior never happens
