This was tested with AUV-2025 on branch custom_message_patch. It works but I noticed the red (auv belief) was lagging and I am guessing it was the computer not able to process sensor messages as fast as needed.

On my laptop, the AUV drifts significantly more in this branch compared to noetic. Has anyone else experienced the same issues?
