Tested on x86_64-glibc, nice addition as it's really been painful to switch between zig versions before 👍

On a side note, its version output

❯ zvm --version
zvm version v0.8.12 linux/amd64

seems to still display 0.8.12, probably they forgot to bump the version before creating the release.

i'm still on the fence about the self-update patch, it's necessary but might end up painful to maintain, and i'm not sure if i have the time to bother upstream about it

I've got some time now, I'll try to upstream a flag for disabling it.
