Getting Started

Follow these steps to download and run AURA on your local machine.

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• npm or yarn
• Git

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/0day-Ashish/adamas-Chatbot.git
   cd adamas-Chatbot

2. Install dependencies

   npm install
   # or
   yarn install

3. Configure Environment Variables Create a .env file in the root directory and add necessary API keys (e.g., OpenAI API key, Database URL, JWT token).

   API_KEY=your_api_key_here

4. Run the application

Backend

activate venv first
# then
uvicorn app:app --reload

Frontend

npm run dev 

5. Access the Chatbot Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 (or the port specified in your console).

Usage

Simply type your query into the chat interface. For example:

• "What is the fee structure for B.Tech CSE?"
• "How do I apply for a scholarship?"
• "Who is the HOD of the Psychology department?"
