@BibekBhusal0 BibekBhusal0 released this 09 Sep 16:39
9c9c61c

This is the initial public release of the Zen Command Palette, a powerful and extensible command interface for Zen Browser, seamlessly integrated directly into the URL bar.

Inspired by modern productivity tools like Arc Browser and Raycast, this mod provides a fast, keyboard-driven way to control every aspect of your browser without leaving the URL bar. It is designed to feel completely native to the Zen Browser experience.

Key Features

  • ✨ Seamless & Native Integration: The command palette appears naturally as you type in the address bar. No new UI, just enhanced functionality where you already work.
  • 🚀 Powerful Fuzzy Search: Instantly find any command with a smart, weighted fuzzy search that prioritizes the most relevant results.
  • 📂 Dynamic Commands: The palette automatically generates commands based on your setup:
    • Switch between your Workspaces
    • Move tabs to any Folder or Workspace
    • Open Extension options pages
    • Change Search Engines on the fly
    • Manage Sine Mods
    • Navigate to internal about: pages
  • ⌨️ Complete Browser Control: A comprehensive set of built-in commands to manage:
    • Tabs: Duplicate, Pin/Unpin, Rename, Unload, Clear Others, etc.
    • Windows: New, Close, Minimize/Maximize, Private Window.
    • Zen Features: Toggle Compact Mode, manage Split View, open the Theme Picker.
    • Developer Tools: Toggle DevTools, Web Console, Inspector, and Debugger.
    • Navigation: Go Back/Forward, Reload, and manage Bookmarks.
  • ⚙️ Highly Customizable: Use the Zen settings UI or about:config to toggle dynamic command sets, require a : prefix to activate, and adjust search sensitivity to your liking.

Installation

The easiest way to install is through Sine:

  1. Install Sine.
  2. Go to Settings > Sine Mods.

  • A settings panel to customize shortcuts.
  • Smart commands like a built-in calculator.

This project was heavily inspired by and builds upon the foundation laid by Darsh-A's work on the ZBar-Zen command bar. Thank you for the excellent groundwork!

@BibekBhusal0 BibekBhusal0 released this 26 Jul 07:25

The most requested feature in Reddit Post was support for multiple providers, Adding each provider manually and testing each one will be a pain so I used Vercel AI SDK. Vercel AI SDK not only makes it easy to add multiple providers it also make lets stream text, allows to abort response and makes tool calls more rigid with schema validation.

    • Mistral
    • Gemini
    • ChatGPT
    • Claude
