This page lists recommended and minimal hardware requirements as well as the software requirements for macOS installation of UltraGrid. (For Linux preliminaries, click here.
- You need Intel-based MacPro with at least 2 cores
 - If you want to use uncompressed 1.5Gbps streams (either sending or receiving), you need 10GbE network interface card
- we prefer and test with PCIe Myrinet 10GbE

 - If you need sending capabilities, you need QuickTime-supported capture card
- most often we use DeckLink Pro HD PCIe or Quad, but Intensity(Pro), Kona3, Kona 3G and MultiBridge are also known to work

- we are currently using Leopard or Snow Leopard versions, although other versions may work too
 - Xcode build environment (from macOS install CD/DVD), if you will compile from sources
 - Quictime, OpenGL, Cocoa and Carbon frameworks (usually included in any instalation)
 - DeckLink/AJA driver appropriate for your card
 - optionally SDL (preferably from macports)

You may download UltraGrid here or check it's performance here.
