This repository contains the data, analyses, source code, documentation, and research materials for a study on well performance evaluation using routine production data from the Volve Oil Field.
Routine production and operational data are fundamental to production surveillance and well performance evaluation. These measurements provide insight into the behaviour of producing wells and support engineering analyses throughout the life of a field.
This project investigates how routinely collected production and operational measurements can be integrated into a structured methodology for well performance evaluation. The study uses publicly available data from the Volve Oil Field as a case study for developing and assessing the proposed framework.
- Characterize the production and operational behaviour of wells using routine field data.
- Investigate the relationships between operational parameters and production response.
- Develop an integrated methodology for well performance evaluation.
- Assess the applicability of the proposed framework using the Volve dataset.
