The stories take place on the distant planet Foresto, located in the Espercher Galaxy far away in space.
ちきゅうから光の速さで進んでも、何百万年もかかる遠い宇宙。 その銀河のひとつ、エスペッシャー銀河に緑の惑星フォレストがあります。
そこには、緑や青や黄色のふわふわした生き物や、 「こんちゅう人（びと）」や「おやさい人（びと）」、「かじつ人（びと）」たちが暮らしています。
