This is an introduction to pulling data from Statistics Denmark using R designed for participants with some R experience. These lessons can be taught in a day (~ 2 hours). The lessons refresh some basic information about R syntax, the RStudio interface, how to import CSV files, the structure of data frames, how to deal with factors, how to add/remove rows and columns, and how to calculate summary statistics from a data frame. An introduction to actually pulling data using the API follows, and is supplemented with a brief introduction to plotting.
