MathGov Core v11.4 — Excavation, Stewardship, and Self-Audit Release
MathGov Core v11.4 — Excavation, Stewardship, and Self-Audit Release
This release strengthens the public framing, governance posture, and scientific humility of the MathGov framework, using the RippleLogic decision architecture.
MathGov is presented here not as ownership of a final answer, but as a proposed formalization of recurring principles of flourishing governance. It draws from ethics, systems science, democratic theory, rights protection, ecology, AI alignment, risk governance, and lived human experience.
The central framing of this release is:
We are not owners of the compass. We are brush-holders at the excavation site.
This release clarifies MathGov as a civic instrument offered for public use, not a brand seeking to dominate the conversation. RippleLogic is framed as the decision architecture inside MathGov. The Ripple Aligners are framed as the excavation team. AI is framed neither as master nor slave, but as a mirror, amplifier, stress-tester, and co-auditor.
Core cascade
This release emphasizes the plain-language RippleLogic cascade:
- Ground reality.
- Protect rights.
- Bound ruin.
- Preserve the structure.
- Score the ripples.
This maps to the operational cascade:
RG → RF → TRC → CSV → RLS
Where:
- RG = Reality Grounding
- RF = Rights Floor
- TRC = Tail-Risk Constraint
- CSV = Core Structure Viability
- RLS = RippleLogic Scoring
Key improvements
- Strengthened the “excavation, not ownership” framing.
- Clarified MathGov as a proposed system for flourishing governance.
- Reduced overclaiming and avoided unsupported superlative claims.
- Added stronger epistemic humility around “natural logic” language.
- Reinforced the self-audit standard: a framework that asks power to submit to audit must submit to audit itself.
- Improved public-facing language for humans, institutions, and intelligent systems.
- Clarified AI’s role as co-auditor and stress-tester rather than authority or servant.
- Strengthened alignment between public communication and the current RG → RF → TRC → CSV → RLS cascade.
Scientific and governance posture
This release does not claim that MathGov has proven outcome superiority over all other governance systems. It presents MathGov as a structured, testable, auditable, and revisable framework.
The framework is offered for scrutiny, pressure-testing, replication, improvement, and correction where it fails.
Canonical public statement
MathGov is a proposed formalization of recurring principles of flourishing governance, drawn from ethics, systems science, democratic theory, rights protection, ecology, AI alignment, risk governance, and lived human experience.
It is not the invention of a new truth.
It is an attempt to state old and recurring truths in a form usable by humans, institutions, and intelligent systems.
Closing principle
Not ownership.
Stewardship.

Core cascade
The public RippleLogic method is:
Reality Grounding → Rights Floor → TRC → CSV → RLS
Formal shorthand:

Where:
- Reality Grounding establishes what is known, unknown, evidenced, and claimable.
- Rights Floor / NCRC protects non-compensatory rights before welfare scoring.
- TRC bounds catastrophic and irreversible tail risks.
- CSV checks Containment and Structural Viability.
- RLS ranks only options that survive the upstream levels.
Governing Core
The governing core files are:
- RippleLogic Canon v11.4
- SGP v6.4, Sentience Gradient Protocol

What changed
This release applies the Reality Grounding and Lean Cascade Patch.
Major improvements include:
- Updates the public-facing method to: Reality Grounding → Rights Floor → Tail-Risk Bound → Containment → Ripple Score.
- Preserves the formal method: RSG → NCRC → TRC → Containment → RLS.
- Keeps Category Grounding and Primitive Audit as required subdisciplines of Reality Grounding when material.
- Clarifies that UCI/HOI are structural diagnostics inside Containment when material and only special-case residual tie-break / monitoring evidence when RLS is tied, close, uncertainty-overlapped, or non-decisive.
- Strengthens the SGP boundary: protection-surface evidence, not consciousness proof or governance authority.
- Synchronizes Canon, SGP, Agent System, ripple.md Standard, Primer, Aligners Sheet, release notes, verification files, and hashes.
