Biswadeb's Lab is an independent cybersecurity research organisation that builds tools and frameworks at the intersection of technical engineering and adversary behaviour analysis. Research here is practical, evidence-based, and grounded in how real-world adversarial operations actually work.
The lab exists to produce research and tooling that is genuinely useful — not academic exercises or proof-of-concept noise. Every project published here was built to solve a real problem encountered during active research work.
Projects span domain intelligence, DNS infrastructure, network security engineering, investigative methodology, and security automation. Where existing tools were insufficient, new ones were built from scratch.
Understanding adversaries requires more than technical knowledge. It requires understanding how they think, why they make the decisions they do, and how their behaviour patterns manifest in infrastructure and operations.
This organisation approaches security research from both directions — technical analysis of systems and behavioural analysis of the people operating them. That combination informs everything published here.
All research is conducted under defined legal and ethical boundaries, in isolated lab environments, with responsible disclosure as a baseline expectation.
-
OSINT & Domain Intelligence — Mapping adversarial infrastructure, detecting lookalike domains, and correlating open-source signals at scale.
-
DNS Infrastructure Research — Security-focused resolver engineering, domain behaviour analysis, and DNS protocol internals.
-
Adversary Behaviour Analysis — TTP modelling grounded in MITRE ATT&CK, informed by criminal psychology and behavioural pattern research.
-
Network Security Engineering — Lab infrastructure design, traffic analysis, sandbox architecture, and secure network segmentation.
-
Investigative Security Research — Evidence-based analysis of phishing campaigns, cybercrime operations, and adversarial infrastructure — including responsible escalation to national authorities where warranted.
All repositories under Biswadeb's Lab follow a defined governance, engineering, and security policy framework. Before interacting with any repository, contributors and users are expected to review the following:
- GOVERNANCE — Repository governance, maintainer authority, engineering standards, and project usage rules
- SECURITY — Responsible vulnerability disclosure and security reporting
- CONTRIBUTING — Contribution workflow, pull request expectations, and development practices
- LICENSE — License governing organisational projects
If you find value in the work published here, you may support continued development. Contributions help sustain research activities, maintain lab infrastructure, and fund new tooling.
