Hi, I'm Dmytro Lysak

Junior Java Backend Developer focused on business automation, integrations, and practical server-side workflows.

My background comes from B2B automotive parts and service operations. I work with tender-related processes, task distribution, customer approvals, and internal process optimization. I am moving this practical business experience into backend development: Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs, automation workflows, and Linux/VPS deployments.

Current focus

  • Java backend development: Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, Maven/Gradle, Git
  • Business automation and integrations: n8n workflows, webhooks, calendar/process automation
  • Server and deployment practice: Linux, Docker, Nginx, Jenkins, Proxmox, VPS
  • CRM-like internal tooling for tender and auto-parts operations
  • Improving older learning and pet projects into clean public examples

Practical automation experience

  • Built an n8n webhook workflow that creates calendar events for tenders automatically.
  • Reduced a manual tender-calendar routine from about 3-4 hours to about 1 hour for review and assignment.
  • Continue improving internal workflows for task distribution, tender processing, parts operations, and management visibility.

Highlighted projects

  • todoList - Java/Spring Boot learning project with notes CRUD, Thymeleaf, JPA, Flyway, PostgreSQL, and basic security.
  • DiscordBot - Java/Spring Boot pet project for Discord notifications and server status monitoring.
  • SpringFullCalendarJson - Spring Boot + FullCalendar demo for calendar event APIs.
  • ProzorroCRM - early Java/Spring + Angular CRM/tender-management learning project.
  • rate_of_exchange - Java Telegram bot pet project for currency exchange rates and scheduled notifications.
  • CenturionCAD pet project - Java/Spring Boot practice with REST API work, email confirmation, GitHub webhooks, Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, and Nginx reverse proxy.

Repository Notes

I keep this profile honest: public repositories are a mix of learning projects, pet projects, and practical automation experiments. Older one-lesson homework repositories and unrelated forks were archived to keep the profile focused.

Tech stack

Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST API, SQL, Maven, Gradle

Automation: n8n, webhooks, calendar workflows

Infrastructure: Linux, Docker, Nginx, Jenkins, Proxmox, VPS

Tools: Git, GitHub, Codex-assisted development
