CircuScan is a lightweight building-intelligence tool for circular construction. It ingests public technical documents and building inventory data, then produces evidence-backed reuse, risk, and verification guidance for sustainability engineers and asset managers.

What’s included in this release:

• Streamlit app for uploading or editing an inventory
• Ingestion of public HTML and PDF sources from the repo
• SQLite-backed text extraction, chunking, and retrieval
• Conservative material-reuse audit scoring
• Evidence snippets, risk flags, and verification checklists
• Sample inventory data and smoke-test evaluation script

Known limits:

• Text-only pipeline in this MVP
• No OCR for scanned documents
• Audit outputs are decision support, not certification
