Evidence-led research, private to every workspace.

ProofBoard helps people turn a question into a source-first research brief. Sources, claims, confidence, and conflicting evidence stay visible so a conclusion is easy to inspect and defend.
- Private research workspaces using ChatGPT sign-in
- Server-enforced ownership: one user can never read another user’s boards
- Persistent boards, evidence sources, and claim assessments in Neon Postgres
- A real working loop: create a board → add sources → assess claims → review the evidence signal
- Personal profile analytics for research activity, evidence quality, and claim outcomes
- Four complete examples available to explore before signing in
- Responsive, editorial UI designed for desktop and mobile
- Browse a complete example or sign in with ChatGPT.
- Create a focused research board from a question.
- Add reliable sources with a source type and evidence score.
- Capture the claims those sources support, complicate, or contradict.
- Review a live evidence signal and your personal workspace analytics.
Anonymous visitors can explore examples. Creating, loading, and modifying research requires sign-in; the API uses the authenticated user identity on every private request.

| App | Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript |

npm install
cp .env.example .env.local
npm run devAdd a pooled Neon connection string in .env.local:
DATABASE_URL=postgresql://user:password@host.neon.tech/proofboard?sslmode=requireRun the checks before publishing:
npm run lint
npm testGenerate a migration after changing the schema:
npm run db:generateApply migrations with your normal Neon migration workflow. Never commit a real connection string or .env.local file.
ProofBoard is designed for a low-cost deployment footprint:
- Neon’s serverless Postgres for persistent relational data
- Cloudflare-compatible application output
- No paid AI inference required for the core evidence workflow
Deploy the validated build through Sites, then connect a custom domain. Runtime secrets such as DATABASE_URL are managed by the hosting platform, not committed to the repository.
