Terms of Service

These terms describe optional services, integrations, and project-operated distribution channels associated with XeCLI. They do not replace or narrow the software license.
XeCLI application source is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3, provided in the repository LICENSE file. Separately bundled components retain the licenses identified in the repository's Third-Party Notices, and those terms control the corresponding components.
The GPLv3 grants the rights to run, study, modify, and redistribute the covered software subject to its terms. Merely receiving or running the software does not require acceptance of these service terms. Nothing on this page imposes an additional restriction on GPLv3 rights, source availability, permitted fields of use, or redistribution.
If this page conflicts with an applicable software license, that software license controls.
XeCLI can interact with independently operated services and software, including Discord, GitHub, console services, plugins, payload sources, and external analysis tools.
Use of an optional third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy practices. SaveEditors does not control its availability, moderation, security, or policy decisions.
XeCLI is a technical toolkit for hardware, accounts, data, and networks the operator owns or is authorized to manage. Operators remain responsible for applicable law, platform rules, network rules, and the rights of hardware owners, publishers, service providers, and account holders.
This responsibility notice describes expected lawful operation; it is not an additional software-license restriction.
Operators are responsible for:
- reviewing commands before running them
- keeping backups of saves, profiles, NAND images, and other important data
- understanding console-side, transfer, memory, storage, and debugging risks
- protecting credentials, keys, exports, and local output files
SaveEditors does not take custody of operator hardware, console state, account state, or stored content.
Discord Rich Presence and similar integrations are optional. When enabled, XeCLI may share the limited runtime status needed for that feature with the local third-party client. See the Privacy Policy for the current data-handling description.
XeCLI is provided without warranty as described by GPLv3. Optional services, documentation surfaces, and distribution channels are also provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SaveEditors is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, hardware state, service access, or business interruption arising from optional services or distribution channels.
Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
SaveEditors may modify or discontinue project-operated documentation, integrations, or distribution channels. Previously distributed GPLv3-covered software remains governed by the license under which it was conveyed.
The published version of this page is the current description for optional project-operated services. Changes to this page do not retroactively alter GPLv3 rights in software already received.
