Do not open public GitHub issues for security vulnerabilities.

Instead, contact the maintainer directly with:

• a description of the issue
• steps to reproduce the problem
• potential impact

Security reports will be reviewed and addressed as quickly as possible.

ProtoAudit is a research tool designed for protocol analysis. It does not operate as a network service and should not expose attack surfaces in normal usage.

Nevertheless, responsible disclosure is appreciated if issues are discovered.
