Overview

• Syllabuild is a handy tool helps professor to build syllabus and re-use it in another application.
• Syllabuild creates machine-readable data as well as human-friendly and printable PDF file.

Goals

1. Collect essential dates and files for certain course
2. To provide students with a uniform format in syllabi structures
3. To help professors share different syllabus of their courses
4. To generate syllabus and enable export of semester plan to PNG or PDF
5. Streamline process of creating syllabus schedule and updating course calendar/ ui
6. Easy reuse or edit previous syllabus

Milestones

• Syllabuild has a complete model (data structure)
• Syllabuild can open a new syllabus and edit syllabus locally
• Syllabuild can generate PDF and machine-readable form
• Syllabuild has a backend for storing the plan
