Notice that it fails with -O2
It fails because there are no pullup resistors.
This caused the oscillator not to work well

This is a mix of the changes I have to have a better experience with zbitx.
I don't mean this to be merged but instead we can discuss the changes and I can split to partial PRs if you want.
