Complete archive of 24 hand-drawn engineering sheets produced during MAK 107 — Technical Drawing at Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Fall 2025.
Every drawing in this repository was produced entirely by hand — pencil on A3/A2 paper, using T-squares, set squares, compasses, and mechanical pencils — under strict faculty grading standards aligned with ISO 128, ISO 129, and Turkish Standards (TS).
⚡ Speed of Execution:
- Assignment 1 (Technical Text Drawing) — completed in 1 week, deadline was 2 weeks.
- Assignment 2 (Safety Valve Assembly) — completed in 6 days (Nov 1–6), deadline was 13 weeks (entire semester). Both assignments were finished earlier than any other student in the whole faculty.

Scope: Full weight-loaded safety valve — 10 detail drawings + 1 A2-size assembly sheet, including bill of materials, sectional views, and strict ISO dimensioning.
Timeline: Nov 1 → Nov 6, 2025 (6 calendar days) — allocated time was the full 13-week semester.

Scope: Standardized engineering text and lettering layout following ISO/TS conventions.
Timeline: Completed in 1 week — allocated time was 2 weeks.
Technical lettering sheet — ISO character heights, spacing ratios, and line-weight hierarchy
Each session lasted 3–5 hours. The instructor presented a technical drawing problem on the board, and students reproduced it with full dimensioning, sectional views, and proper line conventions on A3 paper.
Note: Grades are marked directly on the scanned sheets in red by the instructor. Some early drawings received lower marks — this is natural as it was my first-time seeing technical drawings. The progression from penalized sheets to high-scoring executions demonstrates the improvement process under İTÜ's strict grading standards.
