Description of the change
Allow client applications to choose the in-cluster default pod gateway.
Benefits
Add support for multiple and arbitrary pod gateways.
Possible drawbacks
The application owner can, by adding an annotation, choose the application's default gateway.
It might be not a problem, but it might be a considerable behavioral change for the project.
