I noticed that a lot of bug fixes and feature releases have been submitted recently. Could you please let me know when a new version will be released?

    There are no plans for a release at the moment. POI is a volunteer project. It is not a commercial project.
    You can build your own jars from POI source code. You can fork the code and apply specific patches if you don't want the current incomplete changes for a future 6.0.0 release.
