Overview
This is the first public release of the AI Capability Briefs, a curated collection of role-specific, practical PDF resources aligned to the CloudPedagogy AI Capability Framework (2026 Edition).
The briefs are designed to support confident, responsible, and defensible use of artificial intelligence across education, research, public service, healthcare, cultural organisations, and professional practice.
What’s included
This release includes 35+ AI Capability Briefs, organised by capability context:
- Education — curriculum, assessment, academic development, and programme leadership
- Research — roles across the research lifecycle, from doctoral supervision to governance
- Governance — leadership, oversight, assurance, regulation, and organisational capability
- Public services — civil service, policy, humanitarian, development, and justice contexts
- Health — non-clinical healthcare, education, and public health policy roles
- Creative — cultural institutions and creative practice
- Individual practice — consultants, freelancers, and professional services
- Information services — library and knowledge-stewardship roles
- Cross-cutting — high-risk contexts, public impact, and public engagement
Each brief:
- is role- or context-specific
- applies the six domains of the AI Capability Framework
- focuses on judgement, responsibility, ethics, and decision-making
- is designed to be read in approximately 10–15 minutes
What this release is (and is not)
This release is:
- a practical decision-support library
- suitable for individual use, teams, workshops, and professional development
- openly licensed for non-commercial reuse (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)
This release is not:
- a tool catalogue
- a training course
- a technical or compliance manual
Relationship to the AI Capability Framework
All briefs are derived from and aligned to the CloudPedagogy AI Capability Framework (2026 Edition), which provides the underlying six-domain structure for mature, ethical, and reflective AI capability.
