The term "Bücherregal(e)" causes many translations to be truncated in the current DarkTheme because it exceeds the maximum character length that can be displayed in the DarkTheme-Web-UI.
Example: Previously, the translation was "Bücherregal erzeugen" which resulted in "Bücherregal erzeuge"
Therefore, all translations have been changed to "Regal(e)." The meaning remains the same, and the reduced maximum length of this translation reduces the overall translation length.
Same Topic:
The translation "Neues Magisches Regal" results in "Neues magisches Reg"....there is no idea at the moment to retain the meaning of the word and not exceeding the character length
- make flash alerts responsive by using 90vw width with max width - allow multi-line wrapping by removing nowrap/ellipsis and enabling word wrapping - align danger alerts with the same responsive sizing and wrap behavior - keep auto height so messages expand instead of clipping #1025

Hi guys, I'm adding a fix coming in v4.0.6 that fixes the flash messages so they shouldn't cut off anymore, wait for thee release and see if it's better before changing good translations to be shorter because of the cutting off bug |

Hello, the switch from "Bücherregal" to "Regal" was made some time ago because many German translations are simply longer than the English original. And due to character limits in the Web-UI, we had to improvise a bit in some places :-) That's why, for example, "Regal" is currently used everywhere. My only concern here was consistency. If the fix addresses this, it would simplify things considerably. |
