The engine

My vision for the engine would be to retain randomness as the core idea of the engine, to insure novel, surprising, even wacky moves that players will have to consider and adapt to.

But, we want it to get better at playing. That is, over time, we'd like it to tend to make better moves, by some kind of meaningful metric.
