Summary

  • Renames the skill directory from connect-release-notes to connect-web-release-notes
  • Updates the name field in SKILL.md to match
  • Clarifies in the skill name that these are web release notes specifically
  • Adds Step 8: automatically posts release notes to Slack after generating and uploading to Confluence
    • Posts to #connect-product-feed (channel ID: C08MRUZ8T9A)
    • Formats message using standard Markdown: bold section headers (**NEW**, **IMPROVEMENTS**, **BUG FIXES**), plain-text bullet items, and <url|label> links for screenshots/demos
    • Ends with a link to the Web Release Notes Confluence page

Test plan

  • Verify the skill triggers correctly when asking to generate Connect web release notes
  • Confirm the skill directory name matches the name frontmatter field
  • Confirm Slack message posts to #connect-product-feed with correct formatting (bold headers, plain bullet items)
