ODI (Ontologia dei Destini incrociati di Italo Calvino) is an ontology based on Il castello dei destini incrociati (The Castle of Crossed Destinies) by Italo Calvino.
BACODI is a knowledge base modeled on the ODI ontology. It stores both iconographic and textual elements of Calvino's work, capturing their structural and narrative dimensions.
The project explores the narrative use of tarot cards and their interrelations within the stories.
It was developed as a Master's thesis in Italian Studies, European Literary Cultures, Linguistics at the University of Bologna,
under the supervision of Professor Francesca Tomasi and Dr Valentina Pasqual.
