  • Document what the IT admin and end user sees during 3 retries and where to find error messages

To configure software to be installed during setup experience:
You can install software during first time macOS and [Windows and Linux setup](https://fleetdm.com/guides/windows-linux-setup-experience#basic-article).

Software installs are automatically attempted up to 3 times (1 initial attempt + 2 retries) to handle intermittent network issues or temporary failures. When Fleet reties, IT admins can error messages for all attempts in the **Host details > Activity** card. The end user only sees an error message if the third, and final, attempt fails.

@getvictor is this IT admin and end user UX right?

The end user only sees an error message if the third, and final, attempt fails.

This part^ I'm not sure about. I tried to find out by watching sprint demos but I think the demo didn't go over this bit.

Yes, the end user will just see an error like they do right now in the UI. They won't know that retries are happening.
