Fluid4.0 Submodel Templates

This repository contains AAS Submodel Templates (SMT) developed or adapted by the publicly funded project Fluid 4.0. Each SMT folder contains a workspace folder and for each (internally) realeased version a folder. For each SMT at least one .json file should be given. Having a .aasx containing the template is recommended as well as a .json or .aasx with example data. Also include a read.me. Please test the files e.g., with the AAS Test Engine or the Meta-Level AAS-Suite. A folder with examples contains SM instances based on existing specifications.

Note: The following Submodel Templates are results from the prior Use Cases of Fluid 4.0.

ModelReconstruction:

This Submodel is a new internally developed Submodel, which includes information about the System Topolgy und Graphic Representation of fluid-mechatronic systems. The main goal is to describe, how the individual components are linked to each other. Furthermore, a graphic representation in shape of a schematic can be generated with this Submodel. Last but not least, there is a referensation to the individual Bill of Material Element (Submodel BOM_plus) to get a connection between the schematic representation and the individual AAS of the component.

BOM_plus

This is an Upgrade of the consisting Submodel Hiearchical Structures enabling Bills of Materials. It basically includes the components of a machine, which contain the referencation to an AAS of the individual component. BOM_plus extends this approach by distinguishing the component between a Role, Type and Instance. Therefore, a component can include more references to shells:

  • Role includes the planned component, independent from any manufacturer
  • Type includes the type of a component from a specific manufacturer as shown inside a datasheet
  • Instance includes the referensation to the specfically manufactured component

TechnicalData_eclass

This Submodel consists of the basic approach of the Submodel Generic Frame for Technical Data for Industrial Equipment in Manufacturing. It provides a fluid-component-specific set of Technical Properties that are required to select a fitting component for a basic system layout. More properties can be added to the Submodel, but this Template includes the minimum set of technical properties which must be present.

Schematics

Schematics is a new internally developed Submodel and closely aligned to the ModelReconstruction Submodel. It contains information of the individual Ports of the fluid-mechtronic component. This will be required to descripe the topology inside the ModelReconstruction Submodel. Furthermore, it includes graphical inforamtion by describing the general size of the schematic represenation as well as the position of the individual Port. This will be helpful to generate a schematic.
