One of more obvious use cases for the use of Generative AI in libraries is in the realm of Information Discovery.

  • How might a LLM use NLP to better understand user queries?
  • What possibilities are there for collocation based on dynamic classification?
  • How can AI more readily search non-traditional media forms, like datasets, or search within resources like video to enhance retrieval?
  • What ethical implications are there for incorporating an AI chatbot into a Discovery layer?
