  • some people (Trix, aiyion, rotanid) are mostly using IRC and would participate less
  • we stay on IRC/Matrix bridged for now

  • stuff like backports happens via labels, it would be great if more people could apply them and do some other actions (reopen issues for example)
  • for reference: for NixOS/nixpkgs there are currently 4227 people with that permission level (every person that maintains at least a single package which means they simply opened a PR and added themself). I'm not aware of abuse in that regard. At most accidentally applying the wrong label or stuff like that. But it's surprisingly limited)
  • no clear opinion has been formed about this topic after discussing it, necessity was questioned

  • Neocturne asked if fake-TQ is necessary. If this was only introduced for downstream packages, those should be fixed first and fake-TQ should be dropped from the PR.

  • General Plan: test with a couple more targets and then the bump to openwrt-25.12 should happen fairly soon if no blocker arrises
  • it would be good if someone takes a look at Kernel Options and whether the presumably unavoidable size increase can be kept somewhat in check by removing unnecessary things
