2. Getting Started
Warning
Using Ghost is against Discord's TOS and can result in account termination! To avoid termination, do not use any commands in bigger servers especially ones moderated by Discord staff and do not use any of the abuse commands. I do not take any responsibility for the actions that may be caused by using Ghost. Please use with caution!
On release, Ghost comes with Windows and macOS executables. If you use one of these machines you will be able to run Ghost using one of these. If you use a Linux machine you will have to follow the installation guide!
When you run Ghost for the first time you will be asked for your Discord account token, desired command prefix and if you would like to automatically set-up a dedicated server for your webhooks. To get your Discord account token please follow this guide.
After all this Ghost will be ready to use!
To configure Ghost to your liking, head to the settings page (gear icon). There are many sections here. The general tab is where you can see your account token, command prefix, message auto delete delay and rich embed webhook. In the theming tab you are able to create, select and delete themes. The API's section is where you will input all required API keys.
Ghost is against Discord's TOS and by using it you are at risk of getting your account banned. There are ways to make this less likely. My biggest tip is to not use the commands in larger servers or servers moderated by Discord's own staff team. I highly recommend keeping the command usage to smaller servers with friends or in a server that isn't bothered by TOS. Just by having Ghost running, you aren't fully likely to get the account banned. I also highly recommend you only use Ghost on phone verified accounts!
