Installation and Upload Options

You can use dsstats in several ways. Choose the option that matches how much automation you want.

Windows desktop app

Microsoft Store

Install the free dsstats app from the Microsoft Store.

Best for:

  • Automatic replay folder detection.
  • Automatic decoding after games.
  • Local offline stats.
  • Session progress while playing.
  • Optional automatic upload after consent.

Requirements:

  • Windows 10 version 19041.0 or higher.
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2.

Browser PWA

Open mydsstats.pax77.org.

Best for:

  • Windows, macOS, Linux, or any browser-capable system.
  • Decoding replays without installing a native app.
  • Local browser storage through IndexedDB.
  • Manual upload workflows.

  • Uploading one replay quickly.
  • Checking a replay without installing the desktop app.
  • Seeing server-decoded replay details after upload.

Windows service

Advanced users can use dsstats.service.

Best for:

  • Fully automatic background uploads.
  • Systems where visual feedback is not needed.
  • Set-and-forget replay contribution.

Which one should I choose?

  • Use the Microsoft Store app if you play on Windows and want the smoothest experience.
  • Use the PWA if you want a browser-only workflow or are not on Windows.
  • Use the website upload page for one-off replay uploads.
  • Use the Windows service if you want background automation without the desktop UI.
