Hi, I am Jonáš Gaigr.

I am a conservationist at the Department of Biodiversity Monitoring of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic.

  • 🔭 I mainly work on an automatic system evaluating the condition of species and habitats in Czechia across scales, mainly covered by the host_naturecz repository
  • 👯 I’m looking to collaborate on exploring biodiversity trends in Czechia, evaluating the condition of protected species and assessing the impacts of conservation interventions
  • 💩🐞 I’m also looking to collaborate on digging into faunistics of European dung beetles, especially the latitudinal shifts in their range
  • 🐸 If you are working on amphibian conservation in Europe, also don't hesitate to contact me – I am coordinating the BiodivPond pilot supported by the Biodiversa+ partnership.
