Summary - In any organization, employee retention and turnover play a critical role in planning and decision-making. This HR Analytics Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of employee attrition (people leaving the company), helping HR teams identify key patterns across various dimensions like age, education, salary, job role, and more.

This dashboard gives decision-makers a quick snapshot of the workforce and areas where attention is needed. . Top KPI Highlights

Avg Years (7.3): On average, employees have worked for 7.3 years.

Avg Salary (7.0K): Average salary of the employees is ₹7,000.

Avg Age (37): The average age of employees is 37 years.

Attrition Rate (20.6%): 20.6% of employees have left the company.

Total Attrition (92): Out of 446 employees, 92 have left.

Total Employees (446): Total workforce under observation.

Demographics and Filters

Gender Distribution:

Males: 47

Females: 35

Department Filters: Easily switch between HR, R&D, and Sales to see department-wise metrics.

Deep Dive Visuals

  1. Attrition by Education

Highest attrition is from Marketing (38%) and Life Sciences (32%).

Shows which educational backgrounds have higher turnover.

  1. Attrition by Age

26-35 age group shows the highest attrition (41 people), followed by 18-25 (18 people).

Suggests younger professionals are more likely to switch jobs.

  1. Attrition by Salary Slab

Most attrition occurs in lower salary groups:

Up to ₹5K: 43 employees

₹5K–₹10K: 36 employees

Indicates dissatisfaction or better opportunities might drive low earners to leave.

  1. Attrition by Job Role

Sales Executives: Highest attrition (57)

Followed by Sales Representatives (33)

Managers (2): Least affected, probably due to seniority and job satisfaction.

  1. Attrition by Year at Company

Most employees leave within their first or second year (17 and 7 respectively).

Shows a trend of early exits.

  1. Job Role Distribution Table

A matrix showing how many employees from each job role and experience band (1 to 4) have left.

Conclusion

This dashboard beautifully translates raw HR data into meaningful insights.

Source- The dataset I have used in this project was taken from 3rd party and also available in Kaggle Platform.
