…eserving CBDC Two design-stage research papers for the June 2026 batch, plus the batch index. 01 — The e-Rupee as an Agentic Settlement Layer: CBDC-native M2M payments. Composes switchboard's working, tested x402 middleware and AgentEscrow policy-conditioned release (releaseByAttestation) with a design-stage e₹ compliance gate, provenance ledger, and settlement layer (erupee-wallet sandbox over a Simulated RBI). 02 — Provenance-Preserving Digital Currency: a note-lineage (UTXO-style) ledger that records full provenance — value conservation, traceability, selective disclosure — while scoping lineage visibility by law (DPDP-aligned, default-deny), not open by default. Design-stage only. e₹ is the RBI's CBDC; the RBI issues and controls it. No real money, custody, deposits, or network I/O — Simulated RBI, synthetic identities, format-only PANs. Subject to RBI/NPCI approval and the licences we will seek; named counterparties (e.g. SBI) stated, not finalised. Any figures are clearly-labelled models with stated assumptions, not forecasts.
