Hey,
I know you're not actively developing this, but I thought this PR might also be of interest for your other projects. It allows developers to build and test the extension using either VS 2015 or 2017. Unfortunately doing this is more complicated than it should be. If you know a simpler way to do this, I'd be interested to hear!
