Hi, I'm Amy 🤘

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Builder.io, and the creator of SpellBot and co-creator of Convoke. I've spent two decades shipping everything from sonar systems to backend APIs serving tens of millions of users, and these days I mostly build distributed systems, developer tools, and the occasional Discord bot.

  • 🎲 SpellBot — a Discord matchmaking bot for the SpellTable community, serving 18k+ monthly games
  • 📹 Convoke — a next-generation webcam Magic: The Gathering platform, scaled to 20k+ active users in its first 4 months
  • 🔌 nanodbc — a small C++ wrapper for ODBC, used by the R programming language's odbc package
