6.Operation Modes

SSH Pilot supports two operation modes: In Default mode, the app loads and saves your system’s standard SSH configuration file (~/.ssh/config) so any changes you make are available to other SSH tools.

In Isolated Mode, SSH Pilot keeps its own separate configuration file, leaving your system’s SSH setup untouched.

To select your preferred operation mode, navigate to Preferences > Advanced tab.
