I had an idea to take the longest slide of a target template (ei: BSLSBS) and insert the .a18 of the test sound to the extent of the existing length. I will have to change the initial length declaration. This also assumes that an .a18 file does not have a footer or terminal pattern (this will have to be verified before I actually celebrate this optimization). If successful, this will allow me to avoid shifting data and updating the Segment 1 table. This would save me time.
