Models

PATCHBAY populates the model drop-down from the HuggingFace collection:

• facebook/sam-audio

Each entry is annotated as:

• (local) – present in the local HuggingFace cache
• (online) – will be downloaded on first use

Offline behavior

If PATCHBAY cannot reach HuggingFace, it falls back to a small built-in list of commonly used SAM-Audio models.

Local cache detection

PATCHBAY checks the HuggingFace cache to decide whether a model is already available locally. If you have strict offline requirements, pre-download models once while online.

Gated access & Hugging Face tokens

SAM‑Audio checkpoints on the Hugging Face Hub are published as gated models. If a model needs authentication or access approval, see:
