Removes [esbuild](https://github.com/evanw/esbuild). It's no longer used after updating ancestor dependencies [esbuild](https://github.com/evanw/esbuild), [@vitest/coverage-v8](https://github.com/vitest-dev/vitest/tree/HEAD/packages/coverage-v8) and [vitest](https://github.com/vitest-dev/vitest/tree/HEAD/packages/vitest). vitest 4.1.x (via rolldown) imports `styleText` from `node:util`, which requires Node >=20.12, and its engines exclude Node 18. Node 18 is EOL (April 2025), so retire it from the CI matrix and the engines field rather than pinning vitest back. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
